Gemstar-TV Guide Announces Plans to Launch i-Guide On Scientific Atlanta Platforms

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc. (NASDAQ: GMST), a leading media, entertainment and technology company announced today that for the first time, its i-Guide Interactive Program Guide (IPG) will be offered for deployment on a full range of Scientific Atlanta, a Cisco Company, devices. The Scientific Atlanta version of i-Guide is in development and will be tested and available later this year.

Scientific Atlanta will be demonstrating this new version of i-Guide IPG at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The demos will take place through the duration of the Show in SA’s Demonstration Room (North Hall, Upper Level Room N227) at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
