Flagstaff Mayor Sara Presler cuts the ceremonial "green" ribbon for grand opening of the Wildcat Hill Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Biogas Cogeneration Plant. This project is the most recent in a long line of city-wide energy conservation and renewable energy projects in which APS Energy Services and the City of Flagstaff have partnered. These conservation efforts have resulted in a cumulative annual emission reduction of approximately 7 million pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2) to the City. The City of Flagstaff is committed to meeting its existing needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. (Photo: Business Wire)
