Big in Japan’s Alexander Muse to Present Keynote Address at AndroidDevCamp Amsterdam
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alexander Muse, co-founder of Big in Japan, the developer of the breakaway hit Android application ShopSavvy, will present the keynote address at AndroidDevCamp Amsterdam on January 8. The day-long event will be held at Pakhuis de Zwijger in the Netherlands’ capital city.
Muse, through his SpringStage startup, organized the first AndroidDevCamp in Dallas in October as a way to encourage developers to build new mobile applications for the Android platform.
The Amsterdam event, organized by T-Mobile Netherlands, is being held in anticipation of the release of the Android-powered T-Mobile G1 phone in the Netherlands in early 2009. More than 250 developers have already registered for the event. Interested members of the public can sign up for the free event at http://tinyurl.com/AndroidAmsterdam.
“We’re proud to have hosted the first AndroidDevCamp, and I am honored to be giving the keynote at this event,” Muse said. “By sharing ShopSavvy’s story and creating a dialogue with other developers, we hope to build on the early successes of the Android platform - and take these achievements to the next level.”
