Biomagnetics (BMGP) Approved for Christian Doppler Group Membership and Biotech Joint Venture

ORANGEVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Biomagnetics Diagnostics Corp. (OTC:BMGP), announced today that the executive board of the Christian Doppler Group in Vienna, Austria (CDG), has approved BMGP for full membership in the society.

“The proposal will grant us access to their patented viral painting technology, international academic talent, and laboratories. A key aspect of the CDG as it applies to BMGP is the Austrian government will match funds for the development of this technology and we will be granted licensing rights as stated by Clayton Hardman, President and CEO of Biomagnetics.

“We are in exciting times for our company. While the first use of our core technology focuses on providing BMGP's testing technology for quality control and other uses within the Chinese food and medical industry, this membership approval is an important piece of building a horizontally integrated company that will have influence in several arms of science; specifically genetic engineering, stem cell research and biological sciences.”

The Christian Doppler Research Association (http://www.cdg.ac.at) is named after the Austrian physicist and mathematician, Christian Andreas Doppler, and the discovery of the "Doppler Effect" which has a wide spectrum of uses in the world we live in today. Its corporate membership roster includes international divisions of corporations such as BMW and Siemens, as well as biotech companies including Intercell (http://www.intercell.co.at), Shire PLC (www.shire.com) and Oridis Biomed (www.oridis-biomed.com).

About Biomagnetics Diagnostics Corporation

BMGP (http://biomagneticsbmgp.com) is an advanced medical device and biotechnology company. Our revolutionary diagnostics system tests for any viral, or bacterial disease using any body fluid. Initial tests will include HIV, Hepatitis B, H-Pylori, and HPV. Our system will detect the presence of the viruses/bacterium itself, and not for antibodies produced by the body’s immune system which may take weeks/months to appear. This allows for earlier detection and treatment, while delivering the tests at a fraction of current costs. BMGP intends to perform clinical trials in Mexico, Thailand, India and China in the last quarter of 2009/ early 2010, followed by trials in the US and Europe. Biomagnetics plans to have products in use in China by mid 2010, followed by US and European sales sometime in 2011.

Biomagnetics (OTC:BMGP) intends to follow the lead of established Western drug makers and biotech’s Merck & Co. Wyeth, Eli Lilly & Co., Schering-Plough, Genentech, Bristol Meyers Squibb and many others that are ramping up investments in China, India and Singapore. BMGP is exploring opportunities within the international stem cell/ genetic engineering/ biotechnology industry, and is working to establish a separate Chinese operating company with the intent to apply for listing on the Shenzhen or Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
