Goldleaf’s Sierra Image Services Accelerates Deposit Automation
Leader in Deposit Automation Solutions Now Offers Both Bank Hosted and ASP Environments
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:GFSI), a provider of integrated technology-based solutions designed to improve the performance of financial institutions, today announced the availability of Sierra Image Services which enables financial institutions to more quickly and cost effectively deploy Goldleaf’s proven enterprise deposit automation solutions. Sierra Image Services effectively combines Goldleaf’s Sierra Xpedite client applications with Goldleaf’s Payments Gateway, Sierra Xchange, deployed in a Goldleaf ASP environment, and with Goldleaf’s outsourced image processing services. The solution eliminates the need to deploy new software in the financial institution back office, and provides a turnkey approach for advancing deposit automation initiatives.
Sierra Image Services allows financial institutions to receive all of the benefits of an enterprise deposit automation solution but with a quicker time to market and lower initial investment. Sierra Image Services supports multiple points of presentment, including Sierra Xpedite Front Counter, Sierra Xpedite Back Counter and other Goldleaf client applications. Deposits are received and consolidated from financial institution branch and customer locations within Goldleaf’s Sierra Xchange ASP. Sierra Image Services then employs Goldleaf’s outsourced image processing services for validation, correction and balancing and creates extract files necessary for posting and settlement. The solution is made possible through the coordinated efforts of payment assets throughout the Goldleaf organization utilizing its people, products, services and technology.
“Sierra Image Services is a natural extension of our expertise as a leader in deposit automation, and it demonstrates the synergies we are realizing as an integrated organization and a strategic solution provider to financial institutions of all sizes,” said Lynn Boggs, CEO of Goldleaf Financial Solutions. “Financial institutions want to find proven partners that can promote their initiatives with scalable, flexible solutions. This solution gives them additional choices to move forward with deposit automation across all channels of the enterprise.”
