Health Net, Inc. Plans Earn NCQA’s “Excellent” Accreditation Status
Honor is Reserved for the Nation’s Best Health Plans
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT) health plans in Arizona, California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York have earned the “Excellent” accreditation status from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The distinction is for the plans’ commercial HMO, commercial HMO/POS and Medicare lines of business.

“Excellent” accreditation status was earned by:
- Health Net of Arizona’s HMO line of business
- Health Net of California’s HMO/POS and Medicare lines of business
- Health Net of Connecticut’s HMO/POS line of business
- Health Net of New Jersey’s HMO/POS line of business
- Health Net of New York’s HMO/POS line of business
In addition, Health Net of California, Inc.’s Medicaid plan (called “Medi-Cal” in California) earned the NCQA’s “Commendable” accreditation status.

National Recognition for Health Net of Connecticut and Health Net of Arizona
Based on NCQA quality and service measures, Health Net of Connecticut is the No. 11 commercial health plan in country, according to U.S. News and World Report’s America’s Best Health Plans 2008-09.
And Health Net of Arizona is the top-ranked commercial health plan in Arizona in the magazine’s rankings.
