Little Black Dress Wines Updates Award Winning Portfolio
Pinot Noir From France Joins Line, Italian Pinot Grigio Follows
Chardonnay Package Gets a Makeover
HOPLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Little Black Dress Wines is expanding its award-winning line with the addition of a 2006 Pinot Noir sourced from France, and will introduce Chardonnay in a traditional Burgundy package with the 2007 vintage release. Pinot Grigio, one of the most popular varietals in the Little Black Dress Wines family, will be tested in an Italian-sourced version to help meet rising demand for Pinot Grigio.
With the addition of Pinot Noir, Little Black Dress Wines current varietals will now include Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Syrah Rosé, and Merlot. Chardonnay, along with all other varietals, has been offered in a high-shouldered Bordeaux style bottle. Both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir will arrive in more traditional Burgundy style packaging. The wines are line priced nationally at $9.99 suggested retail, with Syrah Rosé available in limited markets.
The new Pinot Noir will carry a Vin de Pays d’Oc designation, and the new Chardonnay package will both be introduced in June, 2008.
Little Black Dress Wines were introduced in 2006 and since that time has been acknowledged with several awards as among the most successful new wine brands. In a partnership with the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation, Little Black Dress Wines has helped raise more than $65,000 through online auctions of celebrity dresses and celebrity-signed bottles of Little Black Dress Wines.
