DNA Beverage Corporation Expands Operations into Louisiana
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DNA Beverage Corporation (Pink Sheets:DNAB) the makers of DNA Energy Drink®, the great tasting favorite of action sports enthusiasts and fans alike, today announced that it has begun expansion of its operations into the Gulf Coast region beginning with the State of Louisiana. Distribution in the southern portion of the State is being performed by Grass Roots Beverage Corporation, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary that currently distributes the Company’s energy drink throughout Florida to several thousand national chain and independent convenience stores. Distribution for Northern Louisiana will be the responsibility of Red River Beverage Corporation.

The DNA brand can now be found at nationally known convenience and drug chains in Louisiana, as well as many independently owned stores. Red River is a highly respected regional distributor that has serviced the territory for five years and currently sells products from the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group, National Beverage Company, as well as several beers including Old Milwaukee and Schlitz. With warehouse locations in Shreveport and Monroe, Red River currently services over 800 accounts in northern Louisiana.
