SIS Welcomes Giglio, Nilsson to Executive Team

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Surgical Information Systems (SIS), the leader in integrated surgery and anesthesia management systems, announced today that it has appointed two seasoned executives to its management team. Chris Giglio joins SIS as Senior Vice President of Customer Operations and Eric Nilsson joins as Chief Technology Officer.

Chris Giglio joins SIS with over 18 years of experience in implementing and selling strategic change initiatives for large-scale clients. He will lead the SIS Customer Operations organization in providing invaluable services to current and future customers; including implementation, consulting, and support. Throughout his career Giglio has shown an ability to consistently deliver strong operational results for leading healthcare information technology companies. He comes to SIS from McKesson Provider Technologies, where he served as Division Vice President of Services and Technology. At McKesson he led the creation and growth of the company’s Program Management Office (PMO) and launched an innovative service offering that provided revenue cycle and clinical outcome improvements to physicians. Prior to McKesson, Mr. Giglio served as Managing Director for Cerner Corporation’s Accelerated Solutions Center (ASC). While at Cerner he decreased product implementation time by 50%, developed training programs, and was recognized for being in the top 5% of value creators company-wide.

Eric Nilsson brings to SIS over 20 years of product management and development experience, having developed a solid reputation for creating, growing and leading successful technology companies. He joins the SIS executive team from Infor, where he was Vice President of Product Management, responsible for leading product management of the company’s SCM, CRM, CPM and EAM solution areas within Infor’s Strategic Solutions Group. Mr. Nilsson grew Infor’s SCM Solutions into an industry-leading supply chain software provider and launched the company’s Enterprise Service Bus-based integration. He is well versed in open systems (solution-to-solution) integration, product life-cycle management and UI modernization. Prior to Infor, Nilsson served in several key management positions overseeing product management, engineering, quality assurance and documentation.
