LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leo Motors, Inc. (OTC: LEOM) has delivered an advanced working prototype electric multipurpose strategic vehicle / tank to Hyundai Rotem, one of the largest companies in the Korean Defense Industry.
The multipurpose strategic electric vehicle was developed by Leo Motors and Hyundai Rotem using key technology and systems which could be required for next generation battle field operations, potentially opening a new era in the defense industry with multi-use advanced tactical remote deployable robotic assets.
The manned or unmanned electric vehicle is intended to be utilized in military land-based stealth vehicles and the Company intends to make it available in various configurations depending upon its deployment.
The vehicle's 6x6 in-wheel motor system control with steering column and skid drive control provides it the ability to traverse various harsh terrain and the ability to turn around 360 degrees in one spot.
It is well equipped with an advanced GPS and laser scan technology for intelligent 3D geometrical navigation.
Additional features include specialized control technology to accomplish fast target tracking with silence and speed.
