Brugman Joins Pioneer Automotive Technologies
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pioneer North America today announced that Louis Brugman has joined the company to serve as General Manager Product Planning for Pioneer Automotive Technologies, Inc. Brugman is the first product planner to have both business and technical depth locally supporting the growing operations of Pioneer’s automotive OEM subsidiary.

In this role, Brugman will provide product direction for all new products in Pioneer’s OEM customer portfolio. He will also lead a cross functional team with members from other divisions of Pioneer Corporation to develop future strategies that leverage existing Pioneer automotive technologies and products. He will report directly to Yuji Katori, Senior Vice President Corporate Planning and will work closely with Steven Moerner, President and COO of Pioneer Automotive Technologies in Detroit.

Brugman, 36, previously served as the multimedia product planning lead for Ford Motor Company since 2001. A graduate of the University of Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan and the Michigan State University Broad School of Management in Lansing, Michigan, Brugman holds both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration from Michigan State.
