Texas Veterans Land Board Selects Mortgage Builder® Loan Origination Software

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mortgage Builder Software, Inc., provider of end-to-end mortgage banking software, announced that Texas Veterans Land Board (Austin, Texas) selected Mortgage Builder® Loan Origination Software as their LOS provider. Mortgage Builder’s system offers more functions and allows fast customization that saves time and money.

The Texas Veterans Land Board was created in 1946 to help veterans returning from World War II buy land to farm or ranch. As of July, 2007, Texas Veterans Land Board has processed more than $1.73 billion land loans for 15,800 veterans. Veterans can also get loans for the purchase of land and home improvements.

The tradition of rewarding veterans with land as thanks for their military service began in the days of the Republic of Texas. Today, land can no longer be given, but the tradition continues through the Texas Veterans Land Board, which offers veterans low interest loans for land, homes and home improvements – all at no cost to taxpayers.
