Nightingale Signs Electronic Medical Record Agreement with Healthcare South, PC

Company Continues to Strengthen Presence in U.S. with Its ASP EMR Solution

MARKHAM, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nightingale Informatix Corporation ("Nightingale" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: NGH), a healthcare application service provider (ASP) of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and practice management software, today announced that it has signed an ASP EMR contract with Healthcare South, PC, a group practice of 45 healthcare providers at 11 private offices throughout the Boston area.

“We are highly committed to providing more effective and efficient patient care, and we believe that Nightingale's ASP EMR is the ideal solution to meet our needs.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Nightingale will grant all Healthcare South's healthcare providers with access to an ASP EMR solution, and will provide associated maintenance services. The total value of the contract is approximately $475,000, with implementation and training being billed separately as required. The initial term of the agreement is two-and-a-half years, with an option to renew.

"A fundamental component of our growth strategy for the U.S. healthcare market has been to cross-sell our EMR solution into our acquired customer base," said Sam Chebib, President and CEO of Nightingale. "This contract with Healthcare South, an existing Physician Strategies customer, represents our continued successful execution of this initiative. We are pleased to see the adoption of our ASP offering south of the border, and we look forward to further penetration of this market, as we continue to work to move our acquired U.S. customer base onto our ASP EMR platform."

Through Nightingale's ASP EMR solution, Healthcare South's healthcare providers will be able to access patient data from any computer, anywhere without installing specific software or having to purchase extra hardware. In addition, Nightingale will manage each Healthcare South clinic's patient records in a hosted environment. Roll out of the ASP EMR solution to all 11 clinics is expected to be completed by spring 2008.

"Nightingale's healthcare solutions have helped us to increase our revenues and collections by 20% and level our days of accounts receivables to under 28 days; as such, expanding our relationship was a natural evolution," said Julian Huang, President of Healthcare South. "We are highly committed to providing more effective and efficient patient care, and we believe that Nightingale's ASP EMR is the ideal solution to meet our needs."

About Healthcare South, PC

Healthcare South is a group practice of physicians practicing at 11 private offices in the South Shore Hospital area. Founded in 1996, and comprised of paediatricians, family practitioners, nurse practitioners and other medical and administrative staff, the practice came together to form a group without "walls" in order to more effectively provide patient care in a manner that was consistent with the mandates of managed care. The physicians in the group envisioned using their integration into a larger entity as a way to continue to provide this same quality and service and at the same time, retain control over their practices and the manner that quality and service is provided.
