Expense Management Solutions to Present Case Studies with Aetna and Microsoft Executives at SIG’s Sourcing Leadership 2007
SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Michele Flynn, President of Expense Management Solutions, Inc.(EMS), a leading strategic advisory firm, and executives from Aetna and Microsoft Corporation will co-present case studies that explore strategic sourcing and strategic relationship management, at SIG’s Sourcing Leadership 2007 conference, Thursday, October 11 in Weston, Florida.
Susan Wagner, Director of America’s Facilities and Services at Microsoft and EMS will co-present “Sourcing Complex Services” a case study of a second generation shared services outsourcing initiative. The presenters will share impacts of a lean staffing model, how to institute performance based pricing, differences between first and second generation outsourcing, how to standardize service levels, and performance standards. Participants will gain insight into effective tools for management of service transition between vendors and understand the pitfalls to avoid. This session will take place at 9:00 a.m.
Joseph Black, CPO at Aetna, and EMS will co-present a detailed case study on “Implementation of Strategic Relationship Management”. This session, which takes place at 3:50 p.m., will examine the philosophy and approach behind implementing a successful supplier relationship management program. Discussions will include how to gain support and build momentum, implement SRM tools effectively, and generate tremendous results.
