Coral8 Announces Creation of First CEP Developer Council
Top Developers Join Together to Help Guide Direction and Development of Complex Event Processing Engine
ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coral8, Inc., a leading provider of Complex Event Processing (CEP) software, today announced the creation of the industry’s first Developer Council for CEP software. The council is designed to enable a group of leading developers to collaborate with the company and their peers to help drive the strategic direction of CEP software and Coral8’s CEP product line.
The Coral8 Developer Council is composed of diverse and innovative organizations from a wide range of industries, including hotels.com, Sallie Mae, Wombat Financial Software, Patient Care Technology Systems, Lumitec, Solutionary, a top-tier investment bank, and a large investment trading exchange. These companies are using the Coral8 software for their own unique CEP solution.
“We’ve developed applications on the Coral8 Engine because of its industry-leading language, support for agile development and deployment, and scalable server technology,” said Eric Bruner, Development Manager at Sallie Mae. “The Coral8 Developer Council will allow us to work closely with Coral8 and our industry peers to grow CEP product functionality and evolve industry best practices for CEP.”
Coral8’s Developer Council was created to support the company’s vision that the Coral8 Engine must always be built by developers, for developers. By creating the structure that allows developers to provide their feedback and recommendations, Coral8 can now more easily improve and extend the Coral8 Engine—along with the interfaces, language and developer tools.
“Coral8 is committed to helping developers create the best applications possible, and we can use their expertise to help ensure that we have the best CEP engine on the market,” said Mark Tsimelzon, president and CTO of Coral8. “As our company and products continue to mature, we look forward to hearing even more ideas on how we can improve the CEP performance across a wide range of industries.”
