--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The WeWhoWalk Tour sponsored by UnitedHealthcare took place in St. Paul today. The Tour journeys to 50 state capitals over 50 weeks with community leaders and local residents at each walk. Joining Sue Parks, creator of the tour, were UnitedHealthcare’s chief marketing officer, Chris Gibson. Other special guests included Crunch from the Timberwolves; TC, the Twin Cities Bear; and Viktor the Viking. The goal of the Tour is to raise awareness of the healthful benefits of walking for everyone, plus fighting childhood obesity. The recently launched free social networking web site, www.walkstyles.com, helps walkers (and hikers and joggers) connect with each other to form clubs, track their progress and be inspired.
