Picis Expands Senior Management Team to Support Continued Growth
New hires to oversee Picis Professional Services and CareSuite Research and Development
WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Picis, a leading provider of high-acuity care information systems, today announced the appointment of Scott Iverson as senior vice president of professional services and Lourdes Engel as senior vice president of research and development. The announcement comes on the heels of the Picis acquisition of LYNX Medical Systems. In their new roles, Iverson and Engel will help Picis meet the demands of recent growth and continue to expand professional services and research and development functions.

At Picis, Iverson will oversee the professional service organization, which includes Implementation as well as Learning Services and Business Transformation Services. Iverson brings more than two decades of experience, with expertise in all operational aspects of professional services, to this position. Most recently, Iverson served as senior vice president of professional services at Harte-Hanks, a direct marketing company. Earlier in his career, Iverson built the East Professional Services team at Epiphany Consulting where he was responsible for all delivery engagements of the company’s operational and analytic CRM applications. He began his career with Andersen Consulting.
Engel is a veteran software engineering and technology expert with extensive senior level experience and proven success in management of complex software development projects and teams. As Senior Vice President of Research and Development, Engel will oversee global development of the Picis CareSuite™ total perioperative solution including teams in Wakefield, Barcelona and the UK. Previously, she held the position of vice president, engineering and technical operations at InMagic, Inc., a provider of Web-based content management solutions for libraries and research centers. In this role, she developed the company’s next generation product line of applications, managed relationships with partners and assisted product roadmap and business plan development. Her extensive work history also includes technical and executive level positions at Motorola, ChannelWave Software and Sensormatic Electronics Corporation.
