FICS Adds Customizable Work List Feature to Loan Producer®
My Work List further streamlines work environment for mortgage originators
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS)®, a mortgage technology specialist that provides in-house residential origination and servicing technology and commercial servicing technology to the mortgage industry, announced that it has added a new feature, My Work List, to its residential mortgage loan origination system, Loan Producer®. The enhanced version of Loan Producer was available to customers in June.
The My Work List feature empowers users involved with the originating, processing, tracking, underwriting, closing, funding and secondary marketing functions, to query loans in Loan Producer based on individually-selected criteria, open the resulting loans to perform a task, and then refresh the list to return only those loans that still meet the criteria. This enables a more efficient work environment for the user due to the ability to focus on only loans that meet the needs of the task at hand. My Work List is completely customizable for each user, with the ability to select the fields to query, display, sort and total making it easy for all users to pull specified information to efficiently perform individual job functions. With these customization options anyone in the origination department has the ability to run quick queries on the Loan Producer database and either work from them or print the results.
“Utilizing the My Work List feature has enabled our origination department to be more efficient and better serve our members,” said Leslie Creech, Operations Analyst Manager of Virginia Credit Union. “This enhancement to our Loan Producer system is unique in that it allows the user to work from their personal list by opening loans, reviewing data, making changes, closing loans, and refreshing data as needed, without ever having to leave the query results page. My experience with other systems is that they only enable users to run queries on their databases and save or print the results.”
“A successful mortgage origination department requires tools that allow for efficient time management, and ultimately, a better working environment,” said Dawn Gibbs, president and CEO of FICS. “To this end, we continue to add functionality to our solutions and work closely with our customers to determine the system enhancements that will provide the greatest, immediate benefit to their business. The My Work List feature is proof that FICS customers are equipped with the tools to proficiently manage their business.”
