China’s ''Lead Paint Invasion'': A Solution

DRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--According to World Health Products, the Mattel announcement is the latest in a series of recalls involving more than 10 million toys since June in the U.S. alone and 19 million toys recalled worldwide. Many of the toys have been recalled because they are covered with lead-based paint. Children who ingest lead can suffer brain damage. Improper disposal of lead-based paint can damage the environment by spewing lead into landfills and waterways. Children are especially susceptible because they are more likely to actually eat paint.
