Delta Community Credit Union Selects LEVEL5 to Continue Retail Delivery Plan
New branch to become Coweta County hub for Delta Community
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LEVEL5, a firm that assists financial institutions with growth strategies through services including strategic consulting, real estate, integrated design, construction management and branding, announced today that after several successfully completed projects it has once again partnered with Atlanta-based Delta Community Credit Union (DCCU) to help develop a new branch located on Highway 34 East in Newnan. This new branch is part of the retail delivery plan LEVEL5 created with DCCU to increase its market share and better serve an expanded charter.
“LEVEL5 is an asset to the planning and fulfillment of our retail delivery strategy”
The new facility will be in Coweta County, an area southwest of Atlanta that is experiencing significant growth. LEVEL5 selected the Newnan site because of its visibility, accessibility, and convenience to local residents and credit union members. The branch is being developed as part of the Summit Healthplex complex in conjunction with Out-Med, LLC, a medical development firm dedicated to uniting the medical profession and allied health care personnel with the local business community while simultaneously developing investment vehicles to meet community needs. Upon completion, the complex will house medical and professional offices and a new restaurant in addition to the credit union. Occupancy in the three-story building is expected in May 2008.
Delta Community is the largest credit union in Georgia, with more than 166,000 members and more than $2.5 billion in assets. Initially founded to serve the employees of Delta Air Lines, the credit union is expanding its membership base to provide financial services to much of the greater metro Atlanta community including residents of Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Henry Counties.
“LEVEL5 is an asset to the planning and fulfillment of our retail delivery strategy,” said Rick Foley, president and CEO of Delta Community Credit Union. “Through our work with the company, another untapped market in the Newnan/Coweta County area was identified, and we look forward to meeting the needs of our members and future members as well as the community as a whole.”
“We are happy to continue Delta Community Credit Union’s significant advancements through the Newnan project,” said J. F. Kassler, president and CEO of LEVEL5. “Our combined efforts and retail and marketing expertise will produce a location that embraces DCCU’s corporate culture as well as the local community. Strategic planning and creative building have positioned Delta Community as a leader throughout the greater Atlanta area. This branch further supports its efforts to strategically expand and create an environment where members want to conduct their business.”
LEVEL5’s previous work with DCCU earned the credit union a first place Diamond Award for its Retail Branch Merchandising for credit unions with assets over $1 billion. The award was presented by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council. (CUNA is the national trade association for credit unions.)
