Budgetel Franchise System Appoints America’s Best Franchising To Service Hotels in Spirit of Fair Franchising
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Budgetel Franchise System, LLC, the upper-economy hotel brand recently acquired by the Atlanta-based investor group headed by veteran hoteliers Mukesh “Mike” Patel and R.C. Patel, announced today that it has retained America’s Best Franchising, Inc. to service and support its hotels. Headquartered in Atlanta, America’s Best Franchising has owned, operated, managed and franchised hotels since 1992.
“This is an important step in creating a strong infrastructure to service our new franchisees”
“This is an important step in creating a strong infrastructure to service our new franchisees,” said Mike Patel, chairman of Budgetel.
“America’s Best Franchising closely mirrors our philosophy of responsible and franchisee-friendly franchising, and we especially have high regard for its fair treatment of franchisees. In addition, the company is very experienced in operations within the upper-economy segment of our industry.”
With this agreement, America’s Best Franchising will provide Budgetel hotels with a central reservations service, plus a variety of services to ensure the highest levels of quality for both franchisees and guests, especially during the initial start-up and growth periods. They include such initiatives as pre-opening and property set-up, marketing and operations support, on-site visits and guest frequency program, orientation and training, and franchise administration and accounting functions.
According to Doug Collins, chairman and CEO of America’s Best Franchising, Inc. and its subsidiaries, “We intend to work closely with Budgetel franchisees to provide a strong service support system and to help them grow the brand into a prominent lodging system, all within our franchisee-friendly environment.” Collins is a 25-year hospitality industry veteran who has led America’s Best since its inception.
Budgetel Franchise System, the nation’s first minority-owned hotel franchiser, has embraced many of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association’s (AAHOA) “12 Points of Fair Franchising” which encourage a mutually-beneficial franchisee-franchiser relationship with individual hotel owners.
For example, Budgetel has no liquidated damages and offers a flexible fee schedule. Also, franchisees can become equity owners in the brand and they have an unprecedented voice in decisions that affect their profitability.
