Arby’s® Continues Expansion Across U.S. with Franchise Development Agreements for 63 New Locations
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. announced today that it continues to expand its brand reach and has signed development agreements to open 63 new Arby’s restaurants throughout the U.S.
“We are focused on our goal of 5,000 domestic Arby’s restaurants.”
The commitments include six new and 27 existing franchisees for the development of Arby’s restaurants in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

The following are details for each signed development agreement with existing franchisees:
- Reza Ashtiani – Reza Ashtiani, President of ROA Enterprises, Inc., currently owns and operates two Arby’s restaurants in Franklin and Emporia, Virginia and has agreed to open one more in Emporia.
- Scott Bastion – Scott Bastion of Nola Ventures, LLC is a new franchisee who joined the Arby’s franchise system in 2006 and owns and operates 14 Arby’s restaurants in Missouri, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He has signed on to open three additional Arby’s in Metairie, Baton Rouge and Covington, Louisiana.
- Jimmie Beavers – Jimmie Beavers, President of Beavers, Inc., currently operates 35 Arby’s restaurants in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. Beavers, a franchisee for more than 20 years, has agreed to open six more Arby’s restaurants in his current markets.
- Bob Collins – Bob Collins of Southern Oregon Beef, Inc. owns and operates one Arby’s in Medford, Oregon and has agreed to develop one more in the same area. Collins has been an Arby’s franchisee since 1988.
- Sanjive and Espie Datta – Sanjive and Espie Datta of Dynamic Management, Inc., who currently own and operate two restaurants in the Sacramento market, have agreed to open a third Arby’s which will be located in Grants Pass, Oregon. The Datta’s have been Arby’s franchisees since 2003.
- Chris and Donna Doyle – Arby’s franchisees since 2000, the brother and sister team of Chris and Donna Doyle of Focus Ten, currently own and operate 17 Arby’s restaurants in Florida, Virginia and North Carolina. In addition to the six new Arby’s restaurants Focus Ten previously agreed to build throughout the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Roanoke-Lynchburg, and Greensboro-High Point markets, they have signed on to open an additional Arby’s in Valrico, Florida.
- William Dworak – William Dworak, President of Restaurant Concepts, Inc., has signed on to develop four Arby’s in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dworak currently owns and operates 21 Arby’s in Iowa and Wisconsin and has been a franchisee since 1983.
- Food Court Solutions, LLC – Eloise Combs and George Stamper of Food Court Solutions, LLC own and operate five Arby’s restaurants in Lexington, Kentucky and have agreed to develop one more Arby’s in Camargo, Kentucky.
- Marion Kost – A franchisee for 17 years, Marion Kost of Marion’s Hilo Ventures, operates an Arby’s restaurant in Hilo, Hawaii. Kost has signed an agreement to open one additional Arby’s in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
- Alan Kreger – Alan Kreger, President of Western Round, Inc. owns and operates four Arby’s in Tucson and has inked an agreement to develop one additional Arby’s restaurant in the same market.
- Perrin Larsh – Perrin Larsh has agreed to develop two Arby’s restaurants in San Antonio, Texas.
- Gene Lehman – Gene Lehman has signed on to open one Arby’s restaurant in Ocala, Florida.
- Little General Store, Inc. -- Greg Darby, President of Little General Store, Inc., owns and operates three Arby’s in the Charleston-Huntington market and has agreed to develop one additional Arby’s in Princeton, Virginia. Little General Store, Inc. has been an Arby’s franchisee since 1995.
- Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores – Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, a family-owned and operated business based in Oklahoma City, has been an Arby’s franchisee for eight years. Under the leadership of Greg Love, Love’s has opened and currently operates 29 Arby’s restaurants across the United States and has agreed to develop seven more including locations in New Mexico, South Carolina, Illinois, Alabama, Indiana, Louisiana, and Georgia.
- Al Mason – Al Mason has agreed to develop an Arby’s restaurant in Houston, Texas.
- Miracle Restaurant Group, LLC -- Founded in 2005, Don Moore, President of Miracle Restaurant Group, LLC, owns and operates 45 Arby’s restaurants in Colorado, Illinois and Indiana. Moore has committed to open another Arby’s restaurant in the Chicago market.
- Bill Perkins – Bill Perkins, President of Mid-South Restaurants, Inc., has signed an agreement to open one Arby’s restaurant in Columbus, Georgia. A franchisee since 1993, Perkins currently owns and operates 13 Arby’s in the Macon and Columbus area.
- Restaurant Management Inc. – Restaurant Management Inc., one of Arby’s largest franchisees, owns and operates 74 restaurants throughout Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee. Grant Troja, President of Restaurant Management Inc., has agreed to open two additional Arby’s in Georgia and Tennessee.
- Richard Ripp – Richard Ripp of The Restaurant Company joined the Arby’s family as a franchisee just four years after the restaurant company was founded in 1964. A leader and innovator in the Arby’s system, Ripp was among the first to add french fries to the Arby’s menu and was the creator of the unique Arby-Q sandwich that can still be found on menus today. In addition to his previous plans to develop five Arby’s restaurants in Virginia, Ripp has agreed to add another five Arby’s restaurants for a total of 10 new Arby’s. Ripp currently operates sixteen locations in the Richmond-Petersburg market.
- Inez Setiabudi – A franchisee for three years, Inez Setiabudi of D&D Food Company, LLC, owns one Arby’s restaurant in Baltimore, and has signed on to open one more in the Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
- Trevor Streeter – An Arby’s franchisee since 1993, Trevor Streeter, President of Home Café, Inc., has signed an agreement to open an Arby’s restaurant in Rome, New York. Streeter currently operates 30 Arby’s restaurants throughout Maryland, Virginia and New York.
- Lee Thompson – Lee Thompson, President of T&N of Kentucky, Inc., has been an Arby’s franchisee since 1984 and owns and operates one Arby’s in Glasgow, Kentucky. Thompson has signed a development agreement for two additional Arby’s restaurants in Cave City and Franklin, Kentucky.
- Daniel Waldsmith – Daniel Waldsmith, President of DJW Inc., owns and operates four Arby’s restaurants in Georgia and South Carolina. Waldsmith, a franchisee since 1993, has agreed to open one additional Arby’s in Anderson, South Carolina.
- Michael Walz – An Arby’s franchisee since 1987, Michael Walz, President of American Roast Beef, Inc., has signed on to open two Arby’s restaurants in Oacoma and Brookings, South Dakota. Walz currently owns and operates eight Arby’s restaurants in the Sioux Falls market.
- Wilcohess, LLC – Wilcohess, LLC, the owner and operator of four Arby’s restaurants throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia, has agreed to open an Arby’s in Youngsville, North Carolina. Wilcohess, LLC has been an Arby’s franchisee since 2001.
- Joe Wilson – Joe Wilson of WillJoe2, Inc. owns and operates an Arby’s restaurant in Yuma, Arizona and has signed an agreement to build one more in Martinez Lake, Arizona. Wilson has been with the Arby’s family since 1982.
- Michael Zipser – Michael Zipser, President of Beef Ventures, Inc., owns and operates 14 Arby’s restaurants throughout Michigan and has agreed to open one more in the Traverse market. Zipser has been an Arby’s franchisee since 1995.

Steven Chun has signed an agreement to develop three Arby’s restaurants in New York.
Saaid Delshad has agreed to develop one Arby’s restaurant in Northridge, California.
Patrick Hsu has signed on to open one Arby’s restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky.
Atual Jain has agreed to develop five Arby’s restaurants in Pima, Arizona.
David Manley has signed on to develop one Arby’s restaurant in Houston, Texas.
Bill Shipley has signed an agreement to develop one Arby’s restaurant in Houston, Texas.
