Kipling Signs Deal with Superstar Singer ''Fergie'' to Design New Handbag Collection
Three-Time Grammy® Winner to Create Two Collections for the Brand
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Kipling North America announced plans for Grammy award-winning artist Fergie to design two new handbag collections beginning in fall 2007 and continuing through the summer of 2008. Each collection will feature new designs and silhouettes.

The collection will be the first foray into the handbag category for the fashion-savvy pop singer.

The new line will be supported with advertising featuring the “Fergalicious” singer, in-store signing events, media relations and personal appearances surrounding the launch of each collection.
The collection will be available in stores beginning Sept. 1 at select retailers nationwide.
Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson has been in the media spotlight since the age of eight when she starred in the break through TV show “Kids Incorporated.” In the 1990s, Fergie was involved in the all-female pop group Wild Orchid and later joined The Black Eyed Peas.
