Grammy Nominees Well Represented in Top 10 CD Purchases, Legal Song Downloads and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Song Downloads
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Based on an in-depth review by The NPD Group, many of this year’s Grammy contenders also appear on the list of the most popular artists purchased and/or downloaded in 2006.

The most popular artists, judged by the number of song tracks downloaded via peer-to-peer (P2P) services by U.S. consumers in 2006 were as follows:
