Global Cash Access and Harrah’s
Extend Agreement and Expand Services
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Cash Access, Inc. (GCA), a leading provider of cash access products and related services to the gaming industry, has signed a multi-year extension to its current agreement with Harrah’s Operating Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. (Harrah’s).
“Migrating ATM services onto our redemption devices is one more way GCA’s technologies provide cost savings for Harrah’s while improving the guest experience”
Under the agreement, Harrah’s will take advantage of GCA’s latest products and services, including enabling ticket redemption devices with GCA’s patented 3-in-1 ATM technology.
The 3-in-1 enabled redemption devices are multi-function patron kiosks that incorporate the 3-in-1 ATM rollover functionality for cash access into self-service kiosks for slot ticket redemption and bill breaking services.
“We’re proud to have Harrah’s as a partner and value the trust they placed in us in delivering additional value to their company from our new products like Arriva Card and cash access on redemption devices,” said Kirk Sanford, president and chief executive officer of GCA. “We’re confident that these new services will put more cash onto their casinos’ floors and increase patron satisfaction.”
“Migrating ATM services onto our redemption devices is one more way GCA’s technologies provide cost savings for Harrah’s while improving the guest experience,” said Jonathan Halkyard, senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Harrah’s. “We’re delighted to add these GCA services to our offering, and to extend our mutually beneficial partnership.”
