Sorpresa! and CNN en Español Announce Co-Production of Weekend News Segment for Children, Hosted by Claudia Palacios
DALLAS & FORT WORTH, Texas & ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sorpresa! – the nation’s first children’s television network broadcast exclusively in Spanish, and CNN en Español, announced today the debut of a co-produced weekend news segment entitled “Qué Pasa?” hosted by CNN en Español anchor Claudia Palacios. Sorpresa! is owned by Firestone Communications, a diversified media and communications company that has recently entered into an agreement to merge with Juniper Partners Acquisition Corporation (JNPPB.OB).

Starting Saturday, November 4, the segment will air every weekend and will be specifically tailored for Hispanic children ages 6 to 12 years old, and broadcast exclusively on the Sorpresa! television network. In addition to relaying news and topical information, the segment features special reports answering questions from the network’s youthful viewers from entertainment and sports related questions to health and technology matters.
