Jones Day Welcomes Prominent Private Equity Partner Dennis Barsky in New York
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dennis Barsky, a prominent Private Equity lawyer, has joined the New York office of international law firm Jones Day as a partner.
Formerly a partner in Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP's New York office, Mr. Barsky has worked on many high-profile M&A and private equity transactions. His practice includes the representation of private equity funds, financial institutions and large corporations in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private equity and general corporate matters. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Barsky worked on cross-border transactions from Singapore.

Admitted to practice in New York, Mr. Barsky received a J.D., cum laude, from The Boston University School of Law, where he was an editor of The Boston University Law Review, in 1994 and a B.A. in International Relations from The American University in 1991.
