PROS Revenue Management Releases Newest Version of PROS O&D Airline Revenue Management Solution

This version of the PROS O&D solution includes major enhancements to the user interface that provide the revenue management analyst with the latest capabilities found in web interface products. These enhancements include dashboards, sophisticated drill-up/drill-down capabilities, and exportable data tables.
In addition to the enhanced user interface, the newest release of the PROS O&D solution includes improvements to fare valuation calculations used by several PROS O&D system modules. The latest O&D solution utilizes data from the airline’s pricing system to calculate fare values, passing these values onto network optimization recommendations and seat availability requests. These features represent a paradigm shift in passenger valuation from stagnant post departure based information to dynamic and real time pricing data. The immediate availability of these requests will allow airlines to further maximize their network revenues.
