Electronic Funds Transfer Association Announces New Slate of Officers
FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, a leading trade organization in the electronic payments industry, today announced its new executive officers for 2007.

Ronald V. Congemi, senior vice president of strategic industry relationships for First Data Corp., has been elected by the Board as its new chairman. Congemi is a long-time EFTA member, having served on the EFTA Board for many years.
He is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Payment Advisory Council and has served as chairman of STAR Systems, Inc. and Primary Payment Systems.
Elected to serve as vice chairman was Raymond T. Crosier, president and chief operating officer of Online Resources Corp. Sandra Hartfield, president and CEO of Palm Desert National Bank and Lynne Barr, a partner in the law firm of Goodwin Procter, LLP were re-elected treasurer and secretary of the Board, respectively.
Upon his election, Congemi said, “EFTA’s former Chairman, Frank D’Angelo, and the EFTA staff have done a great job focusing on very critical and immediate issues in the industry. Our objective is to continue this important work.”
