Insurance Marketing Podcast Explores Branding and Marketing
for Carriers with Chris Knopf of Mintz-Hoke
OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The latest edition of “The Insurance Marketing and Advertising Podcast” examines the importance of marketing, branding and advertising for insurers. The topic is explored in an interview with Chris Knopf, chairman and creative director of Mintz-Hoke, a marketing and advertising firm active in the insurance industry.
Mintz-Hoke currently handles assignments from MassMutual, Prudential Financial, Cigna and others. “If you examine what we’re doing, in fact we’re really involved in people’s lives in a very intimate way,” Knopf said of the challenge of communicating insurance marketing information. “We’re constantly involved in coordinating and reinforcing messages that go through sponsors out into the participant world. I think it’s very dynamic and it’s a very rich area.”
Knopf also discusses insurers’ increasing emphasis on branding in business-to-business markets. “Our belief is, and it’s reinforced over and over again, that branding is one of the make-or-break aspects of having successful channel communications.”
Knopf is a speaker at the Insurance Marketing and Advertising Summit, set for Nov. 3 at the University Club, One West 54th Street, in New York City.
The one-day conference, presented by A.M. Best and the Insurance Media Association, will explore marketing and advertising for property/casualty, life and health insurers, agents and brokers, and other organizations. Admission is $99.
In conjunction with the conference, A.M. Best and the Insurance Media Association have launched a new podcast series focused on insurance marketing and advertising issues. The first episode in the series featured an interview with Peter van Aartrijk and explored marketing for independent agents. The second episode offered an interview with William Pitt of HawkPartners LLC, and explored the importance of branding for commercial insurers, large insurers who sell through brokers and those in the reinsurance arena.
