Climate Protection Campaign Promotes Eco-Friendly Lifestyle With ecobabes 2007 Calendar

GRATON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2006--The Climate Protection Campaign announced today it will release an innovative marketing tool that will make climate protection visible, talked about and attractive -- the 2007 ecobabes calendar. The theme: "ecobabes...because beauty inspires life."

Available in early October, the calendar showcases passionate, powerful, beautiful women from Northern California who are changing the world. Tasha Wright, who promotes energy efficiency and green building for the City of Santa Rosa, leans against one of the City's huge solar panels, looking like a goddess incarnate. Karen Hess, a graphic designer and journalist in Petaluma, is silhouetted before a glimmering Tomales Bay at dusk, showing the possibility and pleasure of vacationing in one's own bioregion. A group shot shows seventy-three self-declared ecobabes, including three city councilwomen, two candidates for city council, several business owners, students, infants, bike riders and more.

The calendar's website, www.ecobabes.org, will provide more information on the ecobabes and calendar sponsors; it will include features such as outtakes, a self-test ("Are you an ecobabe?"), and eco-friendly practices and advice to make changing the world interesting, fun and fulfilling.

The public is invited to the Campaign's free ecobabes calendar release party on Friday, October 27, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. PT, at the Campaign's headquarters, 2860 Bowen, Graton, CA. Calendars will be available for purchase, and each month's ecobabe will be available for autographs.

The calendar can also be purchased online at www.ecobabes.org and through many outlets in the San Francisco Bay Area. A list of locations will be available on the website.
