"Ace Ventura Pet Detective Deluxe Edition"
In the title role, Jim Carrey instantly soared to stardom while tearing decorum to pieces. The award-winning actor plays the screw-loose sleuth hired by the Miami Dolphins' marketing director (Courtney Cox Arquette) to sniff out their missing mascot and quarterback Dan Marino. He goes eyeball to death grin with a man-eating shark, tiptoes about in a tutu, woos and wows the ladies, makes his cheeks the butt of a joke and zips along like a guy hot-wired to a coffee pot. A combination of Jerry Lewis and Doctor Doolittle, the bumbling Ace always gets his man ... or beast! Movie comedy has never been the same -- or more insane.
"Ace Ventura When Nature Calls Deluxe Edition"
Carrey returns as the alligator-wrasslin,' elephant-calling, monkey-shining, loogie-launching, burning coals-crossing, disguise-mastering pet detective. This time Ace comes out of retirement, traveling to Africa to rescue an animal he's terrified of -- a rare white bat who has the sacred power to avert a war between the Wachootoo and Wachati tribes. As to be expected, the limits of outrageous behavior are pushed, and mayhem and silliness abound. A-l-l-l-l righty then!
