Barbra Streisand Rejects $100 Million Dollar Offer by The Entertainment Group

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 31, 2006--Music Legend and Film Star Barbra Streisand has rejected a $100 Million Dollar offer to tour selected U.S cities in Fall of 2006. The Tour was to be her first tour appearance in ten years and was rumored to commence sales this summer.

The offer from Boca Raton, Florida attorney Marcus W. Corwin, representing The Entertainment Group (TEG), included a thirty city tour featuring Ms. Streisand and also included worldwide broadcast and Pay-Per-View television rights.

Ms. Streisand, in declining at this point to broadcast her concerts, has agreed to tour ten cities this fall through promoter Michael Cohl. The tour included two appearances per evening, for a guarantee of $4 Million per day which will result in an $80 Million Dollar guarantee. The broadcast rights are valued at approximately $20 Million Dollars.

The cities tentatively slated for the tour are New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Detroit, Miami and Los Angeles.
