NanoGram Develops High Transparency High Refractive Index Polymer Nanocomposites

The nanocomposites utilize sub-10nm particles produced by the NPM(TM) process and NanoGram's proprietary surface modification and dispersion technologies to achieve a 0.3 refractive index increase (e.g. increase polymer of 1.5 to composite of 1.8) and greater than 90 percent transmission in the visible spectrum with a variety of polymers, including acrylates, epoxies and silicones.
