Paul Philp, Chief Technology Officer, has more than 25 years experience in commercial software in a variety of senior product development, product management and business strategy roles. Prior to joining PlateSpin, Paul consulted with a number of software companies, such as Platform Computing, on their business, marketing and technology strategies. Paul was co-founder and CEO of Visible Decisions Inc. before it was sold to Intel Capital-financed Visual Insights, and also held a number of senior roles at Alias Research (acquired by Autodesk). Paul will own technological strategy and direction for the company to build and maintain PlateSpin's long term success.
Israel Ben-Ishai, Vice-President, Product Development, manages the product R&D and the entire development cycle to ensure timely and quality delivery of innovative products. Israel has served in key product development and general management positions over the last 22 years. Over the last decade Israel developed an expertise in growing small technology organizations into efficient and professional product development groups. After holding the position of General Manager of the Toronto Lab for Nortel, Israel served in executive level roles with Certicom, Bioscrypt and MGI Software. Israel holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
Cadman Chui, Vice-President, Marketing, has held numerous senior marketing positions over the last eight years at IT companies with products and solutions focusing on the enterprise data center. Prior to joining PlateSpin, Cadman led the product marketing and product management teams at Cybermation Inc., a leader in enterprise job scheduling and software change management. He has also held senior product management and product marketing positions at DataMirror Corporation, managing their flagship cross-platform database integration products. He holds an MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business (York University) and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo.
Jennifer Small, Director, Human Resources, manages all aspects of the Human Resource function at PlateSpin and has successfully grown PlateSpin's employee base by over 20 percent since her arrival. Jennifer's focus is aimed at designing, delivering and implementing corporate HR initiatives, professional development of senior staff, building teams and developing their individuals, while maintaining consistency and support of all departments. Over the past 13 years, she has held a variety of HR leadership and generalist roles at companies such as Cybermation, ATI Technologies, FloNetwork (now DoubleClick), Alumni Computer Group and Lincoln Reinsurance (now Swiss Re). Jennifer is a graduate of Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technologies and a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.
John Stetic, Director, Product Management, is one of the founding members of PlateSpin Ltd. and will be managing the product roadmap to ensure PlateSpin's success. In addition, John is responsible for PlateSpin's service offerings, including technical support, education and professional services. John has a wide range of experience with innovative emerging software products and projects, ranging from wireless application servers to datacenter management solution. Prior to joining PlateSpin John held engineering and technical possession at software and hardware companies, including Brightspark and Classwave. John has an Engineering degree from Queen's University.
