Ovation Products Corporation Funded by Andlinger Principals

NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 2006--Ovation Products Corporation has received a major funding from the principals of Andlinger & Company, Inc., a private investment firm founded by Gerhard Andlinger in 1976. Ovation, a development-stage company, will use the funds to conduct field trials and subsequently to scale up the manufacturing process for its proprietary and patented water purification appliance.

Ovation's clean water appliance is a significant breakthrough to address the world's well-documented water problems. It is estimated that 40 percent of the global population does not have access to proper sanitation and clean water. Ovation's appliance has been designed to distill contaminated water at a rate of 20 to 25 gallons per hour and at an energy cost of a fraction of a cent per gallon. The device is roughly the size of a fire hydrant and weighs just over 120 pounds.

Ovation believes the appliance can be used to purify water from a wide range of contaminated sources that include aqueous-based industrial chemicals, septic tank fluids, grey water from showers, washing machines and dishwashers; and from typical drinking water sources including wells and cisterns.

The Company is building multiple units to test such applications in rigorous field trials that are expected to take several months. Upon completion of the trials the Company expects to begin manufacturing commercial units, initially for the industrial and home septic markets.
