Wireless Dynamics Announces the First NFC / RFID mini-SD Card to Augment Its SDiD(TM) Product Line

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2006--Wireless Dynamics Inc., a leading provider of NFC and RFID SD products, announces the SDiD(TM) 2010, the first NFC (Near Field Communications) and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Reader/Writer in mini-SD Card form factor. The SDiD(TM) 2010 is also integrated with the SAM (Secured Access Module) used for many contactless payment standards. Now Smartphones, cell phones and PDA's with externally accessible mini-SD connectors can be enabled by the SDiD(TM) 2010 for mobile payment, e-ticket, retail and other NFC applications. Consumers can use their mini-SDiD(TM) enabled phone to make contactless payments, redeem coupons, instant rewards and contactless transactions quicker, easier and secure. In addition, the SDiD(TM) 2010 is capable of peer to peer communications utilizing NFCIP-1 and ISO 18092 standards. With the embedded SmartMX SAM processor, the SDiD(TM) 2010 can be loaded with certified contactless payment applications and used as credit, debit and stored-value payment cards. The SDiD(TM) 2010 operates at 13.56MHz and supports a wide range of Smartphones and PDAs with Microsoft(R) Pocket PC 2002/2003, Windows Mobile(TM) 2003, Windows Mobile(TM) 5.0, and Palm OS(R) 4.1 and up operating systems.
