SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2006--

Secure Authentication and Anti-Fraud Solution Company Joins Forces with Authorities in eCommerce, Enterprise Software, and Security

“BioPassword brings a unique solution to this dilemma and I'm pleased to be a part of its continued innovation and expansion.”

BioPassword, Inc., the only software company providing secure authentication and anti-fraud solutions based on the behavioral biometric of keystroke dynamics, today announced the formation of the BioPassword Technical Advisory Board. Charter members include Joel Scambray, former Senior Director of Microsoft's MSN Security group and Foundstone co-founder; Sean Jazayeri, Chief Information Officer for Avanade; Michael George, former Vice President of Human Resources for Amazon.com; Stefan Weitz, Director of the Windows Server Community at Microsoft; Matt Sommer, Senior Security Engineer at Amazon.com and Jim Ange, Vice President of Sales for Covestic.

"The growth of online banking and ecommerce, an overall explosion of identity theft, and now the FFIEC guidelines has built the perfect storm of demand for stronger authentication solutions. However, many organizations cannot afford the costly hardware required by many approaches and do not want to add the intrusive steps that hinder productivity or consumer satisfaction required of others," said Joel Scambray, who also co-authored Hacking Exposed. "BioPassword brings a unique solution to this dilemma and I'm pleased to be a part of its continued innovation and expansion."

BioPassword is the only company to provide a two-factor authentication solution that monitors and authenticates users based on the unique way individuals type. As BioPassword continues innovations, the Technical Advisory Board will play a key role in advising the executive and development teams on emerging industry trends, best applications for customer needs, extending strategic business partnerships and offering feedback on future product directions.

"Our ability to attract leaders in the industry to advance BioPassword's goal of delivering the most cost-effective authentication and anti-fraud solution is a testament to both the serious nature of identity theft and BioPassword's unique solution. I look forward to working with this strong group of industry veterans to further innovation and benefit our customers," said Greg Wood, CTO of BioPassword.
