Emergency Filtration Products' Nogales, Mexico Facility Commences NanoMask Filter Production
Combined with the company's Henderson, Nev., production facility, the company expects to be able to produce approximately 1 million NanoMask filters per week, enabling it to fulfill its supply commitments to its international and domestic distributors, as well as pursue large retail and medical products customers with whom EFP has already held discussions. Importantly, the company has designed its Nogales facility to accommodate substantial increases in production from the current projected levels of 750,000 filters per week as demand dictates.
“We will now concentrate our efforts on obtaining large-scale orders for our products, something that we were unable to do because of supply constraints. Demand for our NanoMask and NanoMask filters continues to be strong.”
"Now that Mexico is in production, we are finally able to pursue business with a number of large potential customers with whom we have been in contact," said Douglas K. Beplate, president and CEO, EFP. "We will now concentrate our efforts on obtaining large-scale orders for our products, something that we were unable to do because of supply constraints. Demand for our NanoMask and NanoMask filters continues to be strong."
About the NanoMask
EFP's 2H Nano-Enhanced Environmental Mask, the NanoMask, relies on the company's core 2H Technology(TM) filtration system, which utilizes a combination of hydrophobic and hydrophilic filters able to capture and isolate bacterial and viral microorganisms with efficiencies of 99.9%. The environmental mask utilizes the company's patented 2H Technology(TM) and nanotechnology to enhance the capture-and-isolation characteristics of the filter media.
