Dais Analytic Wins 2006 Innovation Award For ConsERV

ODESSA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 2006--Dais Analytic Corporation (Pink Sheets:DLYT) received a coveted "Innovation 2006 Award" from the prestigious American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI); and International Exposition Company (IEC), at the largest ever AHR Expo held in Chicago on January 23 - 25, 2006.

"The need to use technology and introduce newer more effective products in our industry has never been greater. This impressive award recognizes the leaders of innovation addressing these expanding needs," said Debra Hawkins, Chairman of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute's Board of Directors.

“The validation of receiving the 2006 Innovation Award coupled with strong industry adoption of the C-500 unit signals the accelerating trend to address marketplace needs with newer technology”

A panel of judges, made up of ASHRAE members selected for their expertise and knowledge of the industry and its products, reviewed and evaluated the largest number of applications submitted from all over the world seeking to win. Product entries were judged for innovation, application, value to user, and market impact. Dais' ConsERV product won the innovation award in the Ventilation category.

The ConsERV C-500 is an ARI 1060 certified, UL recognized component of an HVAC energy recovery system. The heart of the system is its use of a proprietary nanotechnology polymer membrane which provides high latent and sensible energy recovery while improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). The product is currently saving energy in museums, schools, hospitals, commercial facilities, and residences.

In 3rd party tests, ConsERV consistently demonstrates zero air-stream leakage while offering effectiveness that is equal to or better than other energy recovery products all in an ultra-low maintenance package.

"The validation of receiving the 2006 Innovation Award coupled with strong industry adoption of the C-500 unit signals the accelerating trend to address marketplace needs with newer technology," said Timothy Tangredi, CEO of Dais Analytic Corporation. Tangredi went on to thank the Award committee for their recognition of the value the C-500 represents as well as crediting the innovation behind the Award to the hard work of the Dais team.
