NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2006--HarperCollins Publishers and Waterfront Media today announced they are joining forces to develop and market personalized content online based on HarperCollins authors and their books. This relationship will allow for an innovative extension of select HarperCollins brands, providing a significant online platform. The collaboration also affords consumers exclusive access to customized content from these bestselling authors, specific to the consumer's individual goals, on a subscription basis.

The joint effort kicks off with the launch of http://www.jillianmichaels.com/, the site featuring HarperCollins' bestselling author Jillian Michaels (Winning by Losing).
