Apptis Wins $5M Customs & Border Patrol Contract
Under the contract Apptis will primarily develop and improve processes, procedures and tools for the agency's Office of Information Technology (OIT) and facilitate oversight audits of the agency by the General Accountability Office (GAO), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on OIT programs.
The contract builds on a 10-year-plus relationship between Apptis and the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol that began in 1993. Over the past decade, Apptis has worked closely with the agency's Office of Information Technology on a variety of programs designed to increase efficiency and update technology.
