Sanctuary's Associates Committee (SAC) is a group of young professionals who are committed to combating domestic violence and have joined together to support Sanctuary's work. Over half of the fifty New York law firms that provide pro bono services to Sanctuary clients are represented on SAC. SAC supports Sanctuary by organizing recreational events for Sanctuary clients and their children; holding donation drives to collect much-needed items for Sanctuary clients, including toys for the holidays and household items for clients leaving shelters; and raising funds for Sanctuary through its annual benefit. Sanctuary is deeply indebted to the members of SAC, who provide invaluable services to Sanctuary and to hundreds of victims of domestic violence each year. In the past three years, SAC has raised over $200,000 in support of Sanctuary for Families.
