Melodeo Releases New Version of Mobilcast; On-Demand Streaming and Sharing Improves Access and Listening Experience; Top-Rated Podcasts Exclusively Available

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2005--Melodeo, Inc., the first company to deliver over the air podcast downloads on mobile phones, today released a new version of Mobilcast(TM). Mobilcast lets consumers download podcasts over the air and listen to them on their mobile phones. The new version of Mobilcast improves this experience by introducing on-demand streaming, and Share.

With on-demand streaming a podcast starts playing after 30 seconds, and continues playing while it is being downloaded to the phone. No longer do listeners have to wait until the download process is complete before enjoying their favorite podcasts. Nor are listeners limited to podcasts that run 30 minutes or less.

This version of Mobilcast also includes Share, a peer-to-peer like feature that allows consumers to send the Mobilcast application to a friend via SMS.
