Sharri Berg Named Senior Vice President of News Operations for Fox Television Stations Group
In making the announcement, Ailes said, "I have worked closely together with Sharri since the launch of FOX News and have witnessed her leadership and expertise at every level. She has made a tremendous contribution to the success of the network. I'm confident her talent, dedication and experience makes her a natural fit in heading up the operations at FOX Television Stations."

Reporting to Jack Abernethy, Chief Executive Officer, FOX Television Stations Group, Berg will work in ensuring production and operation synergy between the FOX stations, FOX News and Twentieth Television. She has been with FOX News since 1996 where she started as Manager, Satellite Operations. Berg was then promoted to Director, Field Operations in 1998, and Director, Newsgathering and Operations in 1999. In 2001, she was named Vice President, News Operations. Berg began her career as a sports production assistant at WUSA-TV in Washington, DC and went on to several positions at Twentieth Television and Worldwide Television News.
