Authentix Offers Complete Brand Protection Inside and Out; Nanotechnology, Tracking, Risk Management and Assessment Deter Counterfeiters, Safeguard the Bottom Line
Authentix has a four-step approach to tackling the problems of counterfeiting, adulteration and smuggling, namely -- Risk Analysis, Solutions Design, Integration into the client's environment, and Field Investigation to ensure compliance. Underpinning this is a world-class portfolio of nano-scale authentication technologies, web-based tacking systems and a client focus that delivers tangible returns on investment.
“Our solutions integrate seamlessly with clients manufacturing processes ensuring minimal impact on their operations”
"Our solutions integrate seamlessly with clients manufacturing processes ensuring minimal impact on their operations," said Phil Martin, vice president, Consumer Goods, Authentix. "They safeguard products as they move throughout the supply chain and provide peace of mind for both brand owners and consumers who want to make sure they're getting genuine products."
"Packaging design and overt authentication features such as holograms rarely solve client issues as anything that can be seen can be copied," said Martin.
Authentix has an extensive array of nano-scale markers that can be incorporated into product packaging and print to provide Yes/No authentication and unique serialization to ensure that the right products are in right place. Special readers can easily detect the presence of these markers and authenticate products without interfering with them.
In addition, Food & Drug Administration (FDA) accepted markers can be incorporated into the products themselves, including pharmaceuticals, foods, drinks and cosmetics. In the event that counterfeiters place fake product in genuine packaging, Authentix can uniquely determine real from fake.
Authentix maintains a Web-based "Track & Trace" program where key product data is stored on a server and updated as it moves through the supply chain. Products are marked with unique license plates which are scanned and attributed to customer shipments. This allows authorized personnel to ensure that genuine product gets to its correct destination and that the source of smuggled product is quickly identified.
M3 (mark, monitor, measure) is a Web-based component of the Authentix anti-counterfeiting plan. Field monitors test products in the supply chain for authenticity and their findings are presented in customized reports to clients. If the need arises, Authentix can provide legal case file support to assist companies with the successful remediation.
In the last three years, Authentix has helped recovered over $3 billion in lost revenues for clients in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods and petroleum industries alone. It currently protects $25 billion worth of pharmaceuticals and works with leading brand owners and governments over 5 continents.
