Why: Green tea is known to inhibit initiation, promotion and
progression of cancer development and enhance anticancer
activities of certain chemotherapeutic drugs. According to
the pharmacodynamics data of the National Cancer Institute
(NCI) Division of Cancer Control and Prevention, daily
consumption of 1200 ml (40 ounces) of green tea containing
710 mcg/ml EGCG is equivalent to 1.5 times the lowest
effective anticancer dose in a 70-kg (154-lbs) person.
Dr. Lee's TeaForHealth is the only product currently on
the market known to meet the NCI de facto standard for
Green Tea and cancer combat. Recently the FDA granted
Dr. Lee's TeaForHealth a qualified health claim for
drinking green tea to reduce the risk of the breast cancer
and prostate cancer and is continuing examination of
scientific information.
