PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 2005--

Four Winds Aircraft seats can be outfitted with the AmSafe Inflatable Restraint System (AAIR(R)) as optional protective equipment

“AmSafe is equally pleased to be working with Four Winds Aircraft to further enhance the safety of those who fly with the latest in airbag technology. Anyone who flies should have the same level of airbag protection in the aircraft as the vehicle driven to the airport.”

AmSafe Aviation of Phoenix, and Four Winds Aircraft of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., recently signed a commercial agreement naming AmSafe as the sole provider of inflatable restraints as options on the FX-210 and FX-250T aircraft, which are identical with the exception of engine sizes. Four Winds aircraft are known for their speed, performance, extra head and leg room, and overall safety features.

AmSafe Aviation Inflatable Restraints (AAIR(R)) are currently well-known and accepted seat belt restraints onboard commercial airlines. The general aviation and business jet markets have followed the lead of commercial airlines by embracing this innovative safety technology for pilots, crew members and passengers.

New Four Winds Aircraft customers will soon have AmSafe Aviation Inflatable Restraints (AAIR(R)) available to them as cost-effective, reliable, lightweight solutions for additional protection and safety on all Four Winds FX-210 and FX-250T turbine engine general aviation aircraft. Certification and fielding of the AAIR(R) on Four Winds Aircraft is expected later this year. To learn more about Four Winds Aircraft, visit their Web site at
