General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), the former U.S. Secretary of State and a luminary on the global and national security challenges of the 21st century, will be the keynote speaker at the ASIS International 51st Annual Seminar and Exhibits, being held Sept. 12-15, 2005 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Drawing on the experience culled from his careers in defense, diplomacy and public service, Powell's speech will be the highlight of the ASIS program which has established itself as the premier networking and educational event in the security industry, as well as the world's largest show dedicated to security.
Developed by security professionals for security professionals, more than 135 educational sessions led by recognized leaders in the field will address the hot topics and pressing challenges facing the industry today. In addition, more than 850 vendors will display the newest in security-related products, technologies and services, utilizing more than a half-million square feet of the convention center. More than 19,000 people are expected, with more than half reporting that the ASIS Seminar will be the only national or international security-related trade show they attend this year.
