Taft University Recognizes New Attorneys
Doneil John Hoekman Gilroy, California
Juan Hong Irvine, California
Bo R. Lee Los Angeles, California
John Nicholas Vitale Morganville, New Jersey
They join nearly 150 other Taft University graduates who have become attorneys through directed independent study. David L. Boyd, president of the University, praised the efforts of the graduates, "These individuals deserve admiration for their dedication and persistence. Anyone who can complete four years of independent law study is a very impressive student. While we're proud of our law school's history on the bar examination, much of the credit must go to the graduates. Our faculty can provide the map for success but it's the student who must devote the time to study."
Individuals passing the General Bar Examination and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination and who have received positive moral character determinations become licensed attorneys by taking the Attorney's Oath.
